On 15th July, the "Pilots" webinar was held under the e-FAST (Electric Freight Accelerator for Sustainable Transport – India) banner and led by The Climate Group, featuring Mr. Sudhendu Sinha from NITI Aayog and Sharvari Patki, Program Head for e-Mobility, WRI India, as keynote speakers. 
This event convened e-FAST knowledge partners deploying electric truck pilots or engaging industry partners to facilitate these efforts, underscoring the importance of shared knowledge and collaboration in successfully adopting electric trucks.

During the webinar, partner representatives shared their progress and learnings, benefiting the broader e-FAST community. Immediate opportunities and potential collaborations were identified, fostering a collective approach to achieving the broader goals of e-FAST India:

Advanced Pilot Development: Progress is being made with pilots in the e-commerce and mineral/steel sectors, showing significant advancement in these areas.

Exploratory Phase: Efforts are being made to engage with government authorities to explore and develop pilot ideas.

Deployed Pilots and Learnings: Pilots have been deployed across various sectors—postal delivery services, urban areas, and chemicals, FMCG, and cement—with valuable insights being gathered, effectiveness assessed, and a focus on scaling, especially in the cement sector.
